Cosmo and Phoebe have been obsessed with one of the walls on the landing. The garage is on the other side of the wall, so I'm pretty sure there are mice in the wall; however, I wouldn't be surprised if they were just staring at the wall for no apparent reason whatsoever.
P.S. Don't ever enter a staring contest with a cat -- you'll lose before you even begin.
