Who's the Badass Now?

Because I write about cats for a living, I'm constantly pointing cameras in my three felines' faces. This photo illustrates the typical reaction. Cosmo (in the basket) and Saffy (on the floor) think, "Ignore her and she'll go away." Phoebe (in the window) is one smart cookie. She knows I will probably never go away, so her response is more aggressive: "Put that thing away or I will cut you." And she thinks she's pretty badass about the whole thing.

What they don't get is that if I stop taking photos of them, their food bowls would soon be empty. Who's holding the cards now? Who's the badass now? Yeah, that's right. Now pose for Mommy and I'll get you some nice treats.
