It's starting to get chilly here in Minnesota, so we've already flipped on the heat a couple of times. Along with the change from summer to fall comes the opening of another season: the heating vent games. There's a nice vent below the kitchen sink. And to top it off, a cozy rug lays right below the warm rush of air. Perfect spot for a cat, no?
The three cats jockey for the prime position and Phoebe generally scores the vent about 95% of the time. The others sit nearby and hope to enjoy a little secondhand warmth. Once I scooted down on the floor and put by hands and feet against the vent. It felt pretty nice -- I totally get it.
