Friskies Photo Contest and Giveaway!

If you share your life with a cat, you know that sometimes buying expensive toys and accessories is pointless. You show them the fancy wand toy with all the dangly doo-thingies and they're nose-deep in the box in which it arrived.

Friskies knows this and has some fun and easy DIY project ideas for you and your cats! In the latest issue of Purina PURR, they offer tips for spiffing up a simple cardboard box to create a colorful, multi-level pussycat playground! And have you checked out their Pinterest page? FUN! They've pinned step-by-step instructions for creating cool DIY cat toys. I've already decided I'm making this one for my cats:

But why should my cats and I have all the fun? Friskies wants you to try one of the ideas in PURR or on their Pinterest page and send us a photo of your cat playing with the cool new DIY project! We'll randomly select a winner from all submitted photos and that lucky reader will receive coupons for FIVE free cans of Friskies! Catladyland will submit the winning photo to Friskies for a change to be featured in the summer issue of PURR! How cool is that?

And you know you won't be creating alone. As soon as you pull out the markers, tape, scissors and glue, your nosy cats will be all up in your business. At least that's how it is in my house!
