I want to introduce you to one of my all-time favorite cats -- her name is Frances and she is just dandy! Before I even floofed my fingers through her tabby tufts, my friend Marina teased me with photos of this kitty on Facebook. I instantly adored her. Last week I finally came nose to nose with this funny feline....and let's just say I was not disappointed.
Finally! Frances! |
I LOVE this pic of Marina and Frances -- check out that FACE!! |
What's not to love? |
Frances considers the Klub Houz. |
Etta the dog considers Frances' bum. |
Peep! |
That'll be enough of that flashy box! |
Me, Marina, Coltrane (toy poodle), Etta (chihuahua), and (of course) FRANCES! |
Happy Caturday, everyone!!

Frances is just a gorgeous gal. Love the tongue sticking out. She has a lovely house too. Great pictures of everyone. Take care and have a super week end.
ReplyDeleteso beautiful! what is her story?!
ReplyDeleteI don't think she has much of a "story" -- I know Marina got her as a kitten...from a shelter of some sort. She's just got so much personality!
ReplyDeleteActually, once upon a time in the fall of 2003, there was a stray cat that was adopted by this boyfriend/girlfriend duo. They were U of M students, acquaintances of my boyfriend at the time. That newly-taken-in feline happened to be ready-to-drop (pregnant). Frances was one of the offspring that I picked out from the litter to be my own. She was 1 in a set of twins. She stood out because 1) she had obvious personality and 2) she had two awesome symmetrical rows of dots on her belly.
ReplyDeleteThanks, everyone, for your interest in her! She really is a dynamo!!
I think chubby cats are funny comedians (I should know because I have a 20 pound cat named Buster who does the oddest things) and seeing Frances (love the name!) with her tongue out in 2 pictures proves my point!
ReplyDeleteSince you are so comical, Frances, why don't you think of a caption for my Silly Saturday Photo Caption Contest?
Hey ~ I think that's Banjo's sister!!! :)
ReplyDeleteShe's adorable!!!

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, but I hope you don't mind comments on 'old' posts. I have been behind in my visiting, so I was catching up with your blog. This post cracked me up! The photos you managed to take of Frances were hilarious, and I LOVE her Klub Houz, No Dogz! Thanks for giving me a good laugh!
