Joseph and Robbin: Two Peas in a Podcast
Do you love pets? Do you love to laugh? Of course you do or you wouldn't be reading this blog! Today I want to tell you about my friends over at TPPC.tv (the #1 pet-related video podcast channel in the world) and their podcast, Pets Teach Us So Much. Joseph and Robbin Everett write, direct, produce, and star in episodes of this innovative show that features pet news, entertainment tidbits, author and celebrity interviews, and animal charity support. Each nearly hour-long show is chock-full of pet-loving goodies and is presented in a fun and informative manner.
I recently listened to my first podcast on Blogtalkradio and was immediately impressed with the quality of the hosts and the excellent online connection. I adored Robbin and Joseph's style and instantly knew I'd enjoy hanging out with them! Their sense of humor is light and a little on the warped side (much like mine)! The show moved along at a easy pace and, honestly, I was so engaged that I lost track of time. On the show I reviewed, they interviewed Darlene Arden, author of Rover, Get Off Her Leg! I knew about Darlene's book, but enjoyed listening to her describe the importance of teaching our dogs to stop jumping on guests, refrain from crotch-sniffing, and how to handle a host of other dog behavior issues. Darlene's style was both educational and humorous -- it was a fantastic interview. The hosts went on to feature snippets about everything from Martha Stewart's face getting nipped by her pooch to Heidi the overweight cross-eyed opossum to the top ten pet-loving cities. In addition to the lighter features, they touched on the importance of adopting pets from rescue-shelters.
Pets Teach Us So Much has a large following of pet bloggers and is committed to supporting the pet blogging community. In fact, if you add the Pet Blogger Support badge to your blog, you will automatically qualify for Pet Blogger of the Week -- just like Catladyland! In addition, if you choose to review a podcast, you will receive a shout-out on their show! Talk about a win-win!
If you haven't had a chance to check out Joseph and Robbin, you really should -- it is a wonderful balance of hilarious pet stories and informative features. You can also connect with their mascot, Lookie Lou, via Facebook and follow them on Twitter. As pet bloggers, we all know how important community and connections are -- and supporting each other is vital! When it comes to all of those things, Pets Teach Us So Much walks the talk!
I'll have to check them out!
