Off the Deep-End...Again

In previous posts, I've written about the silly images that give me giggles.  I'm a expert daydreamer and self-proclaimed flake.  Some people in my life find those qualities annoying because I'm easily distracted, but I happen to enjoy my little escapes.  They are the least expensive sort of vacation and my luggage never gets lost.

Lately, I've been thinking about the places I'd like to take my cats, if they would be willing to go.  I know these thoughts are far-out (and I'd never actually share them with my cats -- they'd run for the hills), but it sends me into fits to imagine these scenarios and the looks on the faces of the people in said scenarios.

So here we go...here comes another perilous plunge into the rabbit hole that is Angie's imagination.  I hope you are wearing your padded bra and protective headgear...this may be a wild one!

I'd like to take...

...Saffy to the salon and tell the stylist she needs an up-do for the prom.

...Phoebe to the local elementary school and tell them I'm there to register her for kindergarten.

...Cosmo to the sports outlet and tell the salesperson he needs to be fitted for ice skates.

...Phoebe to IHOP and ask for a high chair, children's menu, and coloring sheet.

...Cosmo to Sylvan Learning Center and tell them he needs a tutor for Geometry.

...Saffy to Williams Sonoma and ask if they have a spatula that would fit into her tiny paw.

...Saffy to Target and tell them she is there to register for wedding gifts.

...Phoebe to Verizon and tell them we need to add her to our family plan.

...Cosmo to Taco Bell and ask to see the manager because he is there to apply for a job.

Am I the only one giggling at this?  If so, that's just fine.  I'm used to flying solo on my mini-vacations.  If not, welcome aboard the crazy train -- I'll save you a seat!  Now I've gotta run...Cosmo is late to register for the SAT's.
